The park Sinaloa as we know it with the naked eye is one of the largest areas in natural wealth in this great city, has many types of plants, animals, lakes and some natural centers like the new butterfly.

In the year of 1903 Los Mochis was by decree recognized as a city and this was in the wake of the first company, owned by Benjamin F. Jhonston, a man with greath vision and promoter of agricultural and economic development region of.
Don Benjamin decides to build the ''Casa Grande'', a majestic residence located in front of his company, where today we know as the Sinaloa park accompanied by his wife Agnes and his son Sherwood.
The Sinaloa Park covers 16 hectares andthe interior of this is the Botanical Garden, which was designed by the landscape architect Florence Yoch.
Several historians agree in pointing out that fundation of the town of Ahome was on August 15, 1605, the date on which the missionary father Perez de Ribas arrived in these lands. The father comments in one of his works than he was welcomed with great joy; they organized a reception for him and he was received solemny by the chief of the town who, for such an important occasion, was riding a horse that Capitan Hurdaida had given him. In his work history of the Triumphs of Our faith, the father relates '' the nation Ahome and itsman town , which is of 300 to 400 neighbords, had its seat on a plain surrounded byarcabucos and forest that servedas a fortress and shelter for the assaults of his enemies,four leagues from the California sea. This botanical garden has different areas as shown in the image. They are diided by the areas of the botanical garden, the general areas of the Sinaloa park.

It is a huge beauty to know that our city has a protected area which contains plants from other countries.
Sinaloa Park is a tourist place and one of the biggest attractions here in Los Mochis, because of so much flora and fauna that is what more is represented and identified.
The trees the animals the lakes the plants and others, are of the most attractive apart from ll the other entertainament activities for the people since this is what the Sinaloa Park offers us as a natural center better called as the lung of our city.
Sincethe opening of our park have been increasing the ecologial growth since the founder Don Benjamin Francis Jhonston from the first moment he was on the properties of our park he was in charge of caring for and prospering the natural areas that over time nowadays arrived to be one of the most important centers for us citizens and the state in the same way.
Since the natural of our park are of great importance as citzens we have to take care of them as well as anything we want because it is part of us practically plants and animals are the biggest attraction as well as fun games such as duck and turtle pond, most children apart from watching them and playing with them will feed them and take photos. They entertain themselves when they see them and how to gen bored if they are a great attraction for children and other people.
The brayan treeis one of the most attractive due to its spectacular appearance many children call it ''tarsan tree''.
we hae also heard about the ''the tunnel of the kiss'' wich is formed by small palm it is another of the beauty of this wonderful park.
To this beautiful place has come a new place of attraction called plantario, in which youget an incredible experience, with the motto says the green adventure, which cosists of plant species that allowed a learning forthose who visit the place. A lot of knowledge is acquired in this attraction for those who are lovers of plants would love very much.
It is very important to take care of our park because as much as nature affects us in many ways, apart from the fact that it is not difficult to collaborate in that sense because we would moderate thowing trash and putting it in its place since it is one of the most important things frequent that we usually do.
The treaty of animals and plants also has a lot to do because we affect nature constantly by simply tearning a leaf from a tree or brushing the animals, which like humans deserve respect because they are also living beings.
A grat variety of species in our park in addition to the ducks that exist and that are the most common in the park, we have green iguanas, a species protected by semarnat, because they are in danger of extincion.
There are also endemic animals of the region, such as turtles, squirrels, etc; but this population is controlled, since just as they have prey, it also has its predators,hence the natural control of these species.
Some animals that live in the park, are donated by different people, but most are birds that come to feed, are nested and many of the time they stay on the site. These are more than 60 different species that are currentry, but when they begin to reproduce is when a problen arises, since there is no way to feed them.
Int what corresponds to plant species, there are 231 different from all parts of the world brought by Benjamin Jhonston and still need to reincorporate some 100 or more, which have been lost for different reasons since 1964.
Alarge expanse of garden that once belonge to a rich character of the early twentieth century, named Benjamin Jhonston, are now a beautiful space where there are several attractions, such as areas for children's entretainment andfor the observation of nature , it counts with a large collection of plants brought from as far away as java , Indonesia, the philippines or India, toguether with magnificent examples of local flora.
We have 45 families of plants, 203 species appoximately 4,400 individuals,highlighting the 32 species of palms,being the most representative group of the garden, 27 species of legumes such as mesquite, 19 of morceas as the guanabana, 13 begoniaceas like amapa and many more, some species come from other countries.
